NEW YORK CITY - Television legend Bill Moyers is moving his production company and the foundation he heads to a high-end pre-built on the seventh floor at W&H Properties' 250 West 57th Street, announces Fred C. Posniak, senior vice president of W&H Properties.
The 6,327-square-foot space will house Public Affairs Television Inc. and the Schumann Center for Media & Democracy, both of which are currently based at 450 West 33rd Street. Occupancy is expected to begin in July.
Mr. Moyers, one of America's foremost journalists and press secretary to former President Lyndon B. Johnson, established Public Affairs Television in 1986. He is also the president of The Schumann Center for Media and Democracy, a foundation that seeks to renew the democratic process through cooperative acts of citizenship, especially as they apply to governance and the environment.
"250 West 57th Street has a long tradition of attracting prominent media and entertainment companies to our tenant roster," says Mr. Posniak. "Bill Moyers will feel very comfortable here."
James DeLuca of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Barry Zeller and George Fabian of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord.
